Hi, I’m Emma.

I love building tension and unraveling stories little by little.
Because nothing excites me more than…

 LEAVING READERS ON EDGE.

My story.

I’m the mastermind behind several psychological thrillers.

Accused of having written three romance-themed podcasts.

Hitwoman for production companies El Terrat and Planeta Audio.

Responsible for running training programs for film and TV crews.

Apprehended in Los Angeles while pretending to study screenwriting at the New York Film Academy.

Guilty of having spent six years as a creative in an advertising agency, which may explain my obsession with psychological thrillers and crime fiction. Let’s see what the polygraph says.

Alright, now let me tell you about myself for real—just in case someone important comes across this…

I’m a writer and screenwriter. I hold a degree in Advertising from Pompeu Fabra University (Barcelona). After working for six years as a creative copywriter in advertising agencies, I specialized in screenwriting at the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles (USA).

Winner of the 36th Ciutat de Mollerussa Short Novel Prize with L’hora del salmó (Pagès Editors, 2025). I’ve also written crime fiction, including No he estat jo (Llibres del Delicte, 2024) and El forat que deixes (Llibres del Delicte, 2023), which was nominated for Best Novel at the València Negra Festival.

Creator of mystery and suspense podcasts such as Mai no ho sabreu (2022), nominated for the Sonor Awards; Ladrones de memoria (2018) and Operación Reset (2020) for Storytel; and three romance-themed audio dramas for Podimo (2021). I’m the screenwriter of Un secreto en Bretaña (2024), a branded narrative podcast for Brittany Tourism. I also adapted the Cómo llamarte amor saga (2023) into an audio fiction series for Planeta Audio, and was part of the writing team for Ghosting (2022), produced by El Terrat for Audible.

I’ve written audio scripts for El Recuento Musical, Vanity Fair, Amgen España, and collaborate regularly with radio programs. I’ve also written several short films, including Unlocked (2015) and Ferrocat (2017). I worked as a script supervisor on series such as Hipsterland (La Xarxa, 2016), Styx (2016) with Santiago Segura, and the film Qui eres (2017), starring Paula Ribó (also known as Rigoberta Bandini). I’m also the creator of an immersive, interactive film project titled Temporealities (2016).

I combine my passion for storytelling and world-building with teaching: I lecture at ESEI and the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), and lead courses for specialized learning platforms such as Domestika, La Llama School, among others. I also run my own training academy (check out the Training section). Additionally, I work as a consultant in audio fiction and creative writing.
